South Indian actress Sneha, who had two releases this month, has disappointed her fans. One of her latest releases was bilingual movie Vandae Maatharam, which starred Malayalam megastar Mammootty and the other is Shikkar with another superstar of Mollywood Mohanlal.

Both the movies did well at the box office but Sneha failed to impress her fans. The actress was supposed to be the female lead in both the movies but she was hardly seen with a great performance in both the films. It comes out that she has nothing to do more than blink-and-miss roles.

Sneha has been involved in a lot of social welfare activities and she can be seen in many of the functions organised by NGOs in the state.

Recently the smiling assassin took part in an event organised by Rotarians to eradicate polio in India. Sneha pledged her support for the cause and even donated generously for it.

Today she had done something more special today. Sneha pledged her eyes with a city hospital today and signed the declaration at the function held this morning.

Sneha scared of injections
The smiling beauty is scared to get injected. She has the habit of requesting her physician to avoid injection at any cost, since she cannot bear the pain. But the movie Pirivom Santhipom, gave her the bitter experience of getting injected. Sneha thought that in cinema they won't really insert the needle into her skin. But the director Karu Pazhaniappan wanted the real impact. He asked the 'physician' to go for the real injection and they inserted the needle into Sneha's skin. The beautiful girl did not expect this and expressed her feelings to the director after finishing the take.

Sneha had starred in a Telugu film titled 'Amaravathi', which was released in Andhra Pradesh during the end of last year. The movie is now being dubbed in Tamil as 'Anjugam'.

Along with Sneha, Bhoomika has also played an important role in this film. The Tamil version is produced by Sathish Film Corporation.

'Amaravathi' is directed by Ravibabu, who has also written the story and screenplay. Music is composed by Sekar Chandra while cinematography is handled by Sudhakar Reddy.

The film is a crime thriller which deals with a series of mysterious murders in the city. Interestingly, 'Anjugam' has no songs quite like Gautam Vasudev Menon's forthcoming venture 'Nadunisi Naaigal' which too is said to be made on a similar theme.
