Sexy Meenakshi at Manthira Punnagai Audio Launch

Minakshi (IAST mīnākṣi, often written Meenakshi in English, Tamil மீனாட்சி) is an avatar of the Hindu Goddess Parvati - and consort of Shiva - who is worshipped mainly by South Indians. She is also one of the few Hindu female deities to have a major temple devoted to her - the far famed Meenakshi Amman Temple in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. The picture on the right shows her idol at the temple.

Once Indra killed a demon, even though the demon did not harm anyone. This act brought a curse upon Indra that forced him to continue wandering until he was walking around looking for a way where noone would tell him which way to go will redeem him from his sin. After much wandering Indra was freed from his suffering through the power of a Shivalingam in a forest, and so he built a small temple at that site.

It so happened that at that time in South India there was a Pandyan king called Malayadhwaja Pandiyan [1] ruling a small city by the name Manavur, which was quite near to this Shivalinga. He was the son of Kulashekara Pandyan. He came to know about the Shivalinga and decided to build a huge temple for Shiva in the forest Kadambavanam (vanam means forest). He also developed the region into a fine princely state called Madurai.

Manmadhan Ambu Movie Latest Stills

Manmadhan Ambu (Tamil: மன்மதன் அம்பு; English: Cupid's Arrow) is a 2010 Tamil romantic comedy film directed by K. S. Ravikumar. Ayngaran.com. Retrieved on 2010-11-03. Written by Kamal Haasan, it stars himself alongside R. Madhavan and Trisha Krishnan in the lead roles, whilst featuring Ramesh Arvind, Sangeetha, Manju Pillai and Urvashi among others in supporting roles. The film features music composed by Devi Sri Prasad, with several songs written and sung by Kamal Haasan himself, whilst Manush Nandan and Shaan Mohammed made their debut as cinematographer and editor.

After significant pre-production which included rehearsals of the entire script before filming, the film was extensively shot across Europe and on a cruise ship, whilst scenes were also canned across Chennai and Kodaikanal.[1] Produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin, Manmadan Ambu released worldwide on 23 December 2010 to overall positive reviews, whilst taking a large opening.[2] It is dubbed into Telugu as "Manmadhabanam".

Madanagopal/Madan (Madhavan), a wealthy entrepreneur, suspects that his girlfriend, actress Ambujakshi alias Nisha (Trisha) may be having affairs with her colleagues in the film industry. To that end, he hires private detective Major Raja Mannar (Kamal Haasan) to follow her when she goes on a European cruise for a vacation. Mannar accepts, as he desperately needs money to pay the hospital bills of his friend Rajan (Ramesh Arvind), who is afflicted with cancer, and his wife Mallika (Urvashi). Contrary to Madanagopal's suspicions, Ambujakshi is loyal and virtuous; when Mannar reports this, Madan refuses to pay him as his suspicions were unfounded.

Tamil Actress Priyamani latest images

Priyamani has her eyes on Bollywood. After enthralling audiences with her performances , she has become quite a buzz in B-town as we hear that shehas already been offered a few Bollywood masala films. However, Priyamani has been quite picky when it comes to choosing roles and is taking it easy.

Priyamani's next is the Tamil version of Ram Gopal Varma's film with Vivek Oberoi. She plays Bhavani, South sensation Suriya's love interest, in the film. Talking about how she landed the role, the actress says, "Ramu ( Ram Gopal Varma) had seen me in Paruthiveeran and thought I would be apt to play Bhavani. When he tried to reach me, I was shooting in Langkawi with Puri (Jagganath sir) for a Telugu film.

Ramu and Puri are good friends and he had told Puri sir about the film. When Puri sir told me about Ramu's call, I was really excited. I adjusted my dates for another film to be a part of this film." Priyamani hasn't signed any Tamil film recently though her hands are full with Telugu and Kannada films. But the actress says she is eager to do more films in Kollywood. "My last release was Raavanan and now, I have this. I'm more than willing to do a straight Tamil film, but I haven't been offered any solid roles till now. I don't want to do a film here just for the sake of doing one. I want to do films that I will be proud of. I will gladly do another rural-based film like Paruthiveeran because it got me acclaim," she says. Yeah, and a National Award too!
